I believe a lot of people in Indonesia love Gus Dur. We can see it when a lot of people came to his Funeral in Tebu Ireng, Jombang. A lot of people cried there.

"Kemudian, kalau presiden yang keempat, ya yang milih itu yang gila," celetuk Gus Dur.
Fidel Castro pun diceritakan terpingkal-pingkal mendengar dagelan tersebut.
